Thippeswamy (centre), Wildlife Photographer from Mysuru, is seen receiving the National Award for Senior Citizens Vayoshreshtha Samman-2017 from President Ram Nath Kovind for his outstanding contribution to ‘Creative art and wildlife photography’ at a ceremony held at the Plenary Hall of Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, on Oct.9 under the aegis of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The award comprised Rs.2,50,000, a memento and a citation. A.U. Lalithamma, wife of Thippeswamy, is also seen.
