Mysuru: The Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (IEEE), Bengaluru Section, had organised its Annual General Meet (AGM) at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering, Bengaluru, recently.
As part of the AGM, every year there are many honours and awards bestowed on various student branches, built upon their achievements in the years.
This time, the NIE-IEEE Student Branch (NISB) — IEEE Student Branch of The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru — under Bengaluru Section, amongst 23 other colleges, was accorded the “Outstanding Largest Student Branch Award” by Keshav Bapat, Chairperson, Puneet Kumar Mishra, Chairperson – Awards Committee, Sudheendra Kaushik, previous Chairperson, IEEE Bengaluru Section, for the year 2018, with maximum nominations.
Presently, NISB has a numbering of 316 members with a constant goal to advance in the field of technology, for a better society, according to a press release from Dr. G. Ravi, Principal, NIE.
