Mysore/Mysuru: The students of Sadvidya School, Vijayanagar, have bagged several prizes and a rolling shield in the Mysuru City 13th Inter-School Competitions for Primary, Middle and High Schools conducted by Sadvidya Educational Institutions on Nov. 12 at its School premises on Narayan Shastri Road here. Prizes were distributed on the valedictory function on Nov. 14 on the occasion of Children’s Day.

A total of 26 Schools with 364 competitors had participated in seven competitions.

Sadvidya School, Vijayanagar, bagged the Rolling Shield for Thyagaraja Kriti and Pick & Speech.

● Thyagaraja’s Kriti Vocal: 1st prize – Yeashas N. Kashyap;  Consolation – P.K. Prateeksha.

● Pick & Speech: 3rd prize – Hamsini; Consolation prize – P.K. Prateeksha.

● Bhagavad Gita: Consolation – R.N. Pannaga Athreya.

● Purandara Dasara Keertane: 2nd – P.K. Prateeksha.
