Mysore/Mysuru: Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre, in association with Mysore Builders Charitable Trust (MBCT) and Spoorthi — The Ladies Wing of BAI Mysore Centre, had organised a programme to felicitate meritorious children of the construction workers who scored more than 70 percent marks in the recently concluded SSLC and II PUC exams at MBCT Auditorium in city on Aug.4.
Retired Professor of Mahajana College M. Nandakumar, who was the chief guest, spoke on how to gain and improve the knowledge.
N. Subramanya, Hon. Treasurer – MBCT and guest of honour, requested the students to utilise the benefits provided to them.
M.V. Vinod Kumar and C.U. Diwakar read the citation of the 15 deserving children of the construction workers who have talents in sports, cultural activity and scored more than 70 percent marks in SSLC and II PUC.

Jayanth, Masvs Gurukula Pu College (81.16%), M. Amrutha, Composite Government PU College (81.05%), S. Harshitha, Sadvidya PU College (78.83%), G. Kruthi, Mahajana PU College (77.66%)
SSLC: H.G. Manush, Sri Cauvery Composite High School & PU College, (94.08%) V. Gnaneshwari, Pragathi Vidya Kendra High School (91.68%), H.C. Kruthika, Sri Mahalakshmi High School (90.24%), S. M. Rajashekar Murthy, Karnataka Public School, Kuvempunagar, (58.00%).
The chief guest felicitated all the students with a Certificate, memento and cash prize. Spoorthi President Reena Praveen Pal distributed cash prize from their “Saheli” project for four topper girls. Note books and folders were distributed to all the students and Pen drives to II PU students.
Naganandhini, wife of late J.V.R. Naidhruva instituted cash prize in the name of J.V.R. Naidhruva for one topper girl student while Ramprasad couple contributed the books called “Life Skill Development” to all the students.

Student Venkatesh Prasad rendered the invocation. K. Ajit Narayan, Chairman, BAI Mysore Centre, gave a brief report about the activities of BAI and welcomed the gathering.
