Mysore/Mysuru: Builders’ Association of India (BAI) and Mysore Builders Charitable Trust (MBCT) jointly felicitated toppers in Civil Engineering and Construction Technology and Management from various Engineering Colleges in and around Mysuru on Dec.22 at MBCT Board Room, Mysuru.
The programme commenced with the invocation by ATME College student M. Amrutha. R. Raghunath, Chairman, BAI, Mysore Centre, welcomed and gave a brief report about the activities of BAI. N.R. Ashok, Chief Consultant, ACE Technologies, Mysuru, was the chief guest. A.V. Sridhar, Managing Trustee of MBCT, was the guest of honour.
The 16 toppers from seven engineering Colleges were honoured for being first and second topper respectively from their Colleges. The dignitaries felicitated all the toppers with citation, mementoes.
The toppers include: Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) students R. Kruthika- 9.92 % and S. Kavya – 9.82 from Civil Engineering Department, S. Veena – 9.10 and K.N. Rohini – 9.04 from Construction Technology and Management Department, PESCE’s Bibi Mishiba – 9.67 and T.R. Akash – 9.29, NIE’s – B. Varshini – 9.25 and C. Thrupthi – 9.14, VVCE’s – B. Sushma – 9.16 and Yashaswini – 8.6, MIT’s K. Bhoomika – 9.1 and S.L. Punya – 8.88, ATMECE’s M. Amrutha – 9.25 and M.K. Nayana – 9.01 and Government Engineering College K.R. Pet’s – Sachin Naik – 9.67 and M.B.Suprita – 9.67.
V. Srinath, Hon. Secretary, BAI, Mysore Centre, proposed a vote of thanks. Shilpi Coordinators H.B. Ravi Rathnakar, S.K. Shreyams Kumar, T.S. Gurudatta, a few BAI members, faculties from all Engineering Colleges, toppers, parents and invitees were present on the occasion.
