Mysore/Mysuru: Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre, had organised a programme to mark Engineers’ and Teachers’ Day celebrations at its MBCT Auditorium in city recently.

Prof. Ar. D.S. Ramakrishna Rao, Director, Desirazu Associates, Mysuru and Dr. Syed Shakeeb-Ur-Rahman, former Dean, Faculty of Engineering, VTU, Belagavi, were the chief guests.

K. Subramanaya Rao, Past Chairman, BAI Mysore Centre, read the scroll of honour and introduced S. Narayana Rao, Retd. Engineer in Chief, PWD, who was conferred “Engineer Par Excellence Award.”

M.S. Ramprasad, Past Chairman, BAI Mysore, read the scroll of honour and introduced Dr. D.P. Giridhar, former Vice- Chancellor, Indus University, Ahmedabad,   who was honoured with “Teacher Extraordinaire Award.”

On this occasion, BAI monthly magazine “Mysuru Shilpi” was released. Sheela Gurudatt rendered the invocation. BAI Mysore Centre Chairman R. Raghunath welcomed. Hon. Secretary V. Srinath proposed a vote of thanks. V. Gurudatt and Rekha Raviprakash compered.
