Balavihar – A vision for a better tomorrow

Mysuru:  Chinmaya Mission, Mysuru, has organised a summer camp for children in the age group of 8 – 15 years from Apr.1 to 15 at three different centres. The centres where the camps will be held are:

  1.  Chinmaya Mission, Gurudeva Dutta Sannidhi, 6th Main, Doctors Corner, Gokulam 3rd Stage [Contact:7353000666].

  3.   Sri Ramakshetra, Chinmaya Mission, 5th Main, Sarvajanka Hostel Road, Vidyaranyapuram [Contact: 9243114009].

Pujya Gurudev Chinmayanandaji’s vision was to build a healthy and happy society by empowering children with the right human values from childhood so that it becomes an integral part of their personality.  Out of this vision was born Balavihar – a garden of children.

The camp theme is Samartha Hanuman. It focuses on what qualities should be internalised keeping Hanuman as a role model, an embodiment of virtues and values. The activities include singing, games, story-telling, picnic, drawing, painting and several related activities, with value-building as the main focus. The camp is conducted by trained balasevikas.

The camp ends on Apr. 15 with a valedictory from 10 am to 1 pm at Gurudatta Sannidhi, Chinmaya Mission, 6th Main, Gokulam 3rd Stage.
