Mysuru: Balliamada Poovaiah (Chippa), a resident of MIG-30, HUDCO in Bannimantap 2nd Stage, passed away this morning in city. He was 90.
A native of Hudikeri village in Ponnampet taluk of Kodagu district, he leaves behind his wife Gangamma (Maletira, Kedamullur), a retired teacher of Ideal Jawa Rotary School and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites will be held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this evening.
