‘BalonduBhavageethe’ Sandalwood musical evening on Mar. 8

 ‘Sound and Rhythm’ has organised “BalonduBhavageethe,” a Sandalwood musical programme on the occasion of International Women’s Day at Ganabharati auditorium in Kuvempunagar from 6 pm to 8 pm tomorrow (Mar. 8). The songs of sandalwood yesteryear heroines Kalpana, Jayanti, Manjula and others will be sung at the programme, said Sound and Rhythm’s A.S. Ravishankar while speaking to press persons at PatrakartaraBhavan in city  yesterday. Ten singers will sing the melodies of old Kannada films. Entry will be free. Singers Dr.Shivakumar and Mallik were present at the press meet.
