With the first and second year D.EL.Ed exam (Diploma in Elementary Education) being held from Aug. 10 to 21 at Maharani Women’s Teacher Training College located on N.S. Road in the heart of the city, the Police have clamped prohibitory orders in 200 mts. radius around the centre on all days of the exam as a security measure. Accordingly, barring the examinees and the exam staff, no other unauthorised person will be allowed entry to the exam centre. Also, carrying of objectionable articles around the exam centre is strictly barred and all the photo copy shops and browsing centres in the vicinity are asked to shut down during exam hours, according to a press release.
