Mysore/Mysuru: The nation-wide strike by public sector banks called by United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) entered the second and final day today with banking services affected throughout the city.
About 500 employees of various banks staged a protest in front of the Regional Office of Corporation Bank on Vinoba road here this morning seeking fulfilment of their various demands.
A few ATMs ran out of cash resulting in people crowding other ATMs. The severity of cash shortage could be felt more tomorrow being a Sunday.
