Bar & restaurant employees held for supplying liquor beyond closure time

Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police have arrested four employees of Lost and Found Bar and Restaurant on Kalidasa Road on charges of illegally supplying liquor to customers beyond the stipulated closure time.

The arrested are Bar Manager Y.N. Swamy, 46, of Yelwal, supplier Venugopal, 19, of Mallanagowdanakoppal in Srirangapatna taluk, Kekotho, 21, of V.V. Puram and supervisor Shivu, 36, of Yelwal. 

A case has been registered at Economic Offences and Narcotics Police Station.

DCP M. Muthuraj and In-charge CCB ACP G.N. Mohan supervised Economic Offences and Narcotics Police Inspector H.R. Vivekananda, ASI L. Subashchandra and staff Karunakar, Maadaraje Urs, H.S. Puneeth, T.V. Pramod and Rajesh, in the operation, according to a press release from the Public Relations Officer (PRO), City Police Commissioner’s Office, Mysuru.
