C.S. Basavaraju (61), Dalit leader and a resident of Ambedkar Layout, passed away yesterday at Jayadeva Hospital in Mysuru.

He leaves behind his wife, two sons and a daughter.

The body was donated by family members to the Medical College at Chamarajanagar as per his last wish.
