Basavaraju (72), former President of Taluk Madiwala Sangha and Proprietor of Alankar Dry Cleaners, passed away at his residence in Srirampura Layout in the town yesterday.
He leaves behind son Mahesh (Secretary of Madiwala Sangha) and two daughters.
Last rites were performed at Madiwala Burial Grounds in the town this morning.
