BCCI Men’s One-Day Tournament Pavan Parnate shines in Vidarbha’s win

Good batting by one-drop batsman Pavan Mahadeo Parnate (63, 84b, 8×4) and his useful partnerships with opener Siddhesh Kishor Wath (35,40b, 5×4) and Mohit Ranjendra Kale (35, 38b,3×4,2×6), enabled Vidarbha to register a well-earned six-wicket win over Madhya Pradesh in their BCCI Men’s One-Day Tournament’s Plate ‘A’ Game played at JSS-SJCE Grounds here yesterday.

Batting first, Madhya Pradesh, helped by useful contributions from Yash Rishabh Dubey (50, 67b,5×4, 1×6), Harsh Prakash (48,71b,7×4) and Ankush Praveen Tyagi (41,41b,5×4), scored 191 in 44.2 overs. In reply, Vidarbha scored 193 for four in 38.2 overs, and registered a facile six-wicket win.

TN beat Punjab

Opener Vignesh V. Gunti (56,109b, 4×4) and Vishal Vaidhya K. Kannan (51, 55b,4×6) impressed for Tamil Nadu with the willow and helped them post a total of 221 for eight in 50 overs in the match played against Punjab at the SDNR Wadiyar Grounds.

Ikjot Singh Thind and Gurwinder Singh Bhullar took four-wickets each for Punjab.

In reply, Punjab, were bowled out for 158 in 44.4 overs. Tamil Nadu registered a 63-run win.

Gujarat beat Maharashtra

At PET, Mandya, Gujarat registered a three-wicket win over Maharashtra, thanks to some inspiring batting by opener Kathan Dineshbhai Patel (95,118b,13×4, 1×6).
