BCCI Men’s U-19 One-Day Challenger Trophy: Facile win for India ‘A’

Helped by some inspiring batting by Sai Bharadwaj Sudharshan 74 (106b, 5×4), Arjun Prasad Murthy 47 (40b, 1×4, 4×6) and Sameer Haseen Rizvi 38 (33b,4×4,1×6), India ‘A’ registered a facile 43-run win over India ‘B’ and clinched the title in the BCCI Men’s U-19 One-Day Challenger Trophy played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad yesterday.

Batting first, India ‘A’ scored 304/8 in 50 overs. In reply, India’ B’ scored 261 in 46.2 overs and fell short of the target by 43-runs.

Mysuru lad S.K. Kruthik Krishna scored 22 runs for India ‘B’. Skipper Priyam N.K. Garg top scored with 50 runs. Sagar S.K. Dahiya (45), Atharva V. Ankolekar (48), Divyansh J. Joshi (36) and Vivek Naresh Kumar (27) were amongst the run scorers.
