Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysuru Hair and Beauty Association, covering the districts of Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar and Kodagu, has appealed the Government to announce a financial aid and distribution of ration and medical kits to beauticians.

In a press release, Association President Uma Jadav said that for  over one year since the outbreak of COVID pandemic last year, beauticians are unable to run their business due to lockdown and other restrictions imposed by the Government.

Maintaining that beauticians are facing heavy losses due to shut down, she said that the financial crunch due to loss of business has left them with huge debts.

Pointing out that most of the beauticians are from economically  weaker sections, she said that their lives have become miserable as they are unable to make their ends meet.

As such, the Government must come to the rescue of beauticians by announcing financial  assistance and also distribute ration and medical kits for free in these testing times, the press release said.
