Mysore/Mysuru: National President of All India Hair and Beauty Association (AIHBA) Dr. Sangeeta Chauhan has appealed beauticians to become members of Mysuru district unit of AIHBA. She made this appeal while speaking to press persons at Pathrakartara Bhavan here yesterday.
At the press conference Dr. Sangeeta Chauhan said that she is on a tour of India and AIBHA had organised a special seminar for beauticians in Mysuru on Aug. 3 to enlighten them more about hair, spa and colours and the seminar has elicited good response.
But there is still more to know about the use of new technologies and products in our field, she added.
Stating that she is touring the country to understand the problems of beauticians and highlight them at the national level, the AIHBA National President said that there is a shortage of members everywhere in the country and that has made it difficult to raise their issues.
“If more beauticians become members of the Association, it will help emergence of new talents in this field,” said Dr. Sangeeta Chauhan.
Mysuru Hair and Beauty Association President Uma Jadhav, Secretary B.D. Jyothi, Director Nandini and others were present at the press conference.
