I would like to bring to your attention some suggestions that can be implemented to enhance the beauty of Mysuru:

1. Flex banners: Numerous flex banners are installed in large quantities, regardless of the planned events, which significantly obstructs the city’s visibility. It is recommended to impose restrictions on the number of flex banners allowed.

The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) can collect charges for these banners, but the permission granted should be limited to a minimal number, whether for political or non-political events.

2. Garbage collection: Daily announcements from garbage collection vehicles request residents to segregate dry and wet waste. However, many areas in the city, especially isolated locations, have large quantities of uncleared garbage that remain for weeks. More effective and regular garbage collection is needed to address this issue.

3. Plastic usage: Despite announcements and raids by the MCC to restrict plastic usage, the results have not been satisfactory. Many shops and establishments continue to use plastic covers without any restrictions. The MCC needs to take more stringent measures to enforce these regulations.

Timely action on these suggestions would significantly enhance the beauty and cleanliness of Mysuru
