Mysore/Mysuru: Bengaluru CID (Cyber Crime) Dy.SP K.N. Yeshwanth Kumar delivered lectures at the two-day summit on prevention of cyber crime that took place at Gurugram (formerly Gurgaon) near Delhi on Dec. 19 and 20.
The Summit, focusing on Digital Forensics, was organised as part of the 18th anniversary of Data Security Council of India.
Yeshwanth Kumar delivered lecture on the importance of digital evidence in Crime investigation. The other personalities who took part in the summit included Delhi High Court Judge Talwant Singh, former Scientist Krishnashastry Pendyal, Supreme Court Advocate Nakul Sharma and Dr. Atul Kumar Pandey of NLIU (National Law Institute University), Bhopal.
Yeshwanth Kumar had earlier served as Inspector at several Police Stations in Mysuru, before being promoted and posted as Dy.SP at Bengaluru, where he cracked several cases of cyber crime and frauds.
H.N. Venkatesh of ‘Law Guide Kannada Balaga’ — a Kannada monthly — that reports on legal matters, has appreciated and congratulated Yeshwanth’s lecture and said it is not only an informative lecture but also creates awareness on cyber crimes.
