Bengaluru serial bomb blast: Accused held after 12 years

Bengaluru: Twelve years after the 2008 Bengaluru serial bomb blast case, the Police have made another breakthrough in the investigation of the case, with the arrest of the prime accused.

The ATS (Anti-Terror Squad) Police have arrested Shoib from his hideout in Kerala. Shoib, who has been named as the prime accused, had gone absconding since the blasts that rocked the State Capital in 2008.

Although the Bengaluru Police were successful in arresting some of the other accused a few days after the blasts, Shoib had been evading the Police.

The Police, who continued their search, finally nabbed Shoib from his hideout in Kerala a couple of days ago.
