The Vivekananda Shilasmaaraka and Vivekananda Kendra Kanya-kumari Shakhe, Mysuru, will be conducting a Bhagavad Gita recitation contest for school children at Vivekananda Kendra, No. 2830, First Main, Pampapathi Road, Jayanagar, at 9 am on Dec. 7. The contest will be held under three categories — LKG & UKG, First to Fourth standards, Fifth to Seventh standards and Eighth to Tenth standards. Only five students  (in each category) from a school are allowed to take part. The last date for registration is Dec. 5, according to a press release.
