Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha of Anusha Moole tomorrow

Mysuru: The Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha of Anusha Moole, a disciple of Vidu. Nagashree Phaneendra Kumar, has been organised at Ganabharathi in Kuvempunagar on Jan. 21 at 6 pm under the auspices of Sri Nataraja Performing Arts Centre, Mysuru and Adi Moole Family, Gokarna.        

Vijay Prakash, noted Playback Singer, Anantha G. Havagodi, Yakshagana Artist, Gokarna and  Vidu. Vani Ramesh, Director of Drushti School of Dance, USA  will be the chief guests. Dr. Rama V. Bennur, Art Critic, will preside.

Guruvandane will be offered to Vidu. Dr. Kripa Phadke, Director of Nrithyagiri, Mysuru.

Music Ensemble include: Vidu. Nagashree Phaneendra Kumar  on Natuvanga; Vidu.Rajeshwari Pandit on vocal; Vid. H.L.Shivashankaraswamy on Mridanga; Vid. A.P. Krishna Prasad on Flute and Vid. Dasappa on  Morching.

Profile: Anusha Moole, daughter of Vedamurthi Chandrasekhar Shivarama Adi Moole and Sumithra, belongs to the Adi Moole family of Gokarna. She was initiated into the field of classical dance under the able guidance of Vidu. Rajeshwari Baggona and got through in junior and senior grades of dance examinations.

She has learnt Bharathanatyam from Ganabharathi School and presently pursuing proficiency grade of Bharathanatyam  under Vidu. Nagashree Phaneendra Kumar at Sri Nataraja Performing Arts Centre, Mysuru. Having scored excellent marks in pre-proficiency exam, Anusha is preparing for post-proficiency exam. She has actively taken part in many prestigious performances like Karavali Uthsava, Alva’s Virasat at Moodubidare, Spring Fest of Kharaghpur, Kaveri Pushkarini at Srirangapatna, Prabandha Kaarinee and All India Kalasadhaka Sangama programmes organised by Samskara-Bharathi, Nrityavimshathi and Nrityasaptaha festivals organised by Nrityagiri, Nrityasambhrama festivities of Nataraja Performing Arts.

She has learnt classical music for two years. Anusha excels academically also.  Presently, she works at Robert Bosch company in Bengaluru as an Associate Software Engineer.
