Mysuru: The Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha (Vasundhara Bani) of Namratha Jois (daughter of Sadhana Jois and Sathyanarayana Jois), disciple of Guru Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy, will be held at Ganabharathi’s Ramagovinda Kalavedike in Kuvempunagar on Apr. 10 at 5.30 pm under the aegis of Vasundhara Performing Arts Centre (VPAC), Mysuru.

She will be accompanied by Guru Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy on natuvanga, Vidu. Deepti Srinath on vocal, Vid. Jayaram Kikkeri on flute, Vid. Anantha Krishna on rhythm pad and Vid. H.L. Shivashankar Swamy on mridanga.

Karnataka Kalashree Dr. R.S. Nandakumar, Internationally renowned Musician, Musicologist and Founder, Brahmavidya, Mysuru will inaugurate the event.

Dr. M. Susheela Urs, Professor of History (retd.), Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) and Natyacharya Prof. K. Ramamurthy Rao, Artistic Director, Noopura Kalavidaru Trust, Mysuru, will be the chief guests. Guruvandana will be offered to Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy, Director, VPAC&C Trust, Mysuru.
