Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha of Ninaada S. Hegde on Aug. 20

Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Sarveshwara Nritya Kala Mandira – Centre of Pankaja Performing Arts, Mysuru, has organised Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha of Ninaada S. Hegde at Kalamandira on Hunsur Road on Aug. 20 at 5.30 pm.

She is the disciple of Natya Vidushi M. Pankaja Ramakrishnaiah, Director and Founder-Secretary of Sri Sarveshwara Nritya Kala Mandira,

Folk artiste Dr. Matha B. Manjamma Jogathi will inaugurate the programme. Adichunchanagiri Seer Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji and Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion. MLAs Araga Jnanedra, G.T. Devegowda and K. Harishgowda will be the chief guests while MP Pratap Simha, City Police Commissioner B. Ramesh and Deputy Commissioner Dr. K.V. Rajendra will be special invitees. Mysore Royal family member Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar and High Court Justice S. Rachaiah will be present.

University of Mysore retired Professor Chambi Puranik, Dheemahi Centre of Arts Director Dr. Seetha Kote and Lahari Music, Bengaluru, Director Lahari Velu will be felicitated on the occasion.

Ninaada S. Hegde will be accompanied by Guru Vidushi M. Pankaja Ramakrishnaiah on Natuvanga, Vid. C. Sagar Chakravarthy on vocal, Vid. M.J. Kiran Kumar on  mridanga, Vid. Dr. C.R. Raghavendra Prasad on rhythm pad and Vid. Shanmukha Sajja on keyboard.

Profile: The 11-year-old Ninaada S. Hegde began to learn Bharatanatyam since the tender age of 5. Academically, she is pursuing sixth standard at Acharya Vidya Kula, Mysuru.

She has performed folk and Bharatanatyam dances at several programmes organised by Vokkaliga Seva Vedike, Sri Sarveshwara Nritya Kala Mandira, Srirangapatna Dasara etc.

Ninaada is the daughter of CCB ACP S.N. Sandesh Kumar and K. Deepthi, a home-maker. Her elder sister Lakshya S. Hegde is pursuing classical music. They are the residents of Vijayanagar 3rd Stage, Mysuru.
