Mysore/Mysuru: Abhivyakthi Centre for Art and Culture, Mysuru, has organised Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha of Sannutha Jayaram tomorrow (May 27) at RamaGovinda Rangamandira in Ramakrishnanagar at 6 pm.
Dr. Sheela Sridhar, retd. Professor, Mysore University and Dr. Rama V. Bennur, President, Ganabharathi, Mysuru & Art Critic will be the guests of honour.
Nattuvanga will be by Guru Vidu. Suhasini Koulagi, accompanied by Vid. C. Sagar Chakravarthy on vocal, Vid. Venkat Subramanian on mridanga, Vid. H.S. Thandavamurthy on violin and Vid. B. Bharat Raj on flute.
Profile: Born to A.C. Srivani and L. Jayaram of Mysuru, Sannutha is a BE degree holder in Civil Engineering. Since her childhood she has evinced keen interest in various art forms. A trained Hatha Yoga practitioner and teacher, she is also trained in veena under Vid. R. Shankar.
After completing her senior exams in Karnatak vocal, she is currently continuing her training under Vidu. H. Geetha in Bengaluru.
After realising her interest in Bharatanatyam, she started learning under Vidu. Prathibha Ramaswamy and is now training under Guru Vidu. Suhasini Koulagi at Abhivyakthi Centre in Mysuru [Mob: 74060-56096].
