Mysore/Mysuru: Ganabharathi, Mysuru, has organised a Bharatanatyam programme by Vid. S. Vijayakumar and group on Feb.3 (Friday) at 6 pm in memory of Desiraju Tripurasundari and Desiraju Narasimharao at Veene Seshanna Bhavana, Kuvempunagar.
Profile: Vid. S. Vijayakumar, who started his training at a very young age, is practicing Bharatanatyam under Guru Sujatha Parameshawaran for the past 26 years. A BE graduate and currently doing his Ph.D, he is also trained in mridanga and Karnatak vocal music as well. Vid. Vijayakumar has performed in various prestigious platforms and has been awarded the Young Achievers award twice.
