Mysuru: Samskara Bharathi in association with Nupura Kalavidaru Samskruthika Trust have organised a dance programme on ‘Bharathamuni Smruthi Diwas’ on Feb. 8 at 5 pm at Vasudevacharya Bhavan on JLB Road in city. Cultural Thinker Dr. Jyothi Shankar will inaugurate the event.
Trust Managing Trustee Prof. K. Ramamurthy Rao and art patron K.V. Murthy will be the chief guests. Samskara Bharathi Hon. President Dr. H.K. Ramanath will preside.
At 6.30 pm on the same day, artistes from Nanjangud Nataraja Dance School headed by Vidushi Ramya Raghavendra; Mysuru’s Sowmya Dance School led by Vidushi S. Sowmya and Prof K. Ramamurthy Rao’s Nupura Kalavidaru Trust will perform Bharatanatyam, according to a press release.
