‘Bharatiya Samskruthi Utsava’ at Vijayapura in December

Mysuru: Bharat Vikas Sangam, Sri Siddeshwara Samsthe, Vijayapura, along with Sri Basaveshwara Veerashaiva Vidyavardhaka Sangha of Bagalkot, have organised ‘Bharatiya Samskruthi Utsava’ from Dec.24 to 31 at the premises of Ramanagouda Bapugouda Patil (Yatnal) Goraksha Kendra in Kaggodu village of Vijayapura.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here on Thursday, Sri Siddeshwara Samsthe President and MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal said that President of India Ram Nath Kovind or Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu would inaugurate the function on Dec.24.

Infosys Foundation Chairperson Sudha Murty will participate in the ‘Mathru Sangama’ programme on Dec.25. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Swamijis of Mutts will participate in the valedictory programme.

Lectures and seminars on knowledge, agriculture, youth, health, religion and culture will also be held during the event. Achievers would be felicitated and cultural programmes will be held. About 30 lakh people are expected to participate in the eight-day event, he said.
