City’s Sugama Sangeetha Academy Trust in association with Rotary West, will be conducting a State-level Kannada Bhavageethe contest at Rotary West Hall near Kamakshi Hospital, Saraswathipuram on Sept. 9 (Sunday). The contest is open to those over 8 years of age. However, professional and Akashavani or Doordarshan artistes are barred from contesting. Those interested may register along with an entry fee of Rs.100, between 5 pm and 8 pm on all days till Sept. 6. The contestants will be grouped based on their age.
