Mysuru, Aug. 30 (MK&KS)- Urging for fulfilment of their various demands, the members of Bhavishya Nidhi Employees Association, Mysuru Unit, staged a protest on Wednesday.
The members, who gathered in front of Bhavishya Nidhi Bhavan at Gayathripuram, shouted slogans and expressed their anger. They demanded the differentiation being made between Group A, B, C and D employees be stopped.
Speaking on the occasion, Association President K.P. Anand said that the salaries of Group A employees were being increased every year and promotion given once in four years, which was not being considered for Group B, C and D employees who are leading their lives with meagre salary. “In my 28 years of service, I have been promoted just once,” he added.
He alleged that there is a lot of pressure at work and opportunity is not being given to new faces. There is shortage of employees and we are forced to work on holidays. The problems were not being heard by the senior officials, he said. Association Secretary B.N. Ramesh, Nanjundaswamy, Gopalashetty and others were present.
