Mysuru: MP Pratap Simha and Chamaraja MLA L. Nagendra jointly performed Bhoomi puja (ground breaking ceremony) for construction of Lavar Basappa Garadi and civic amenities to the Community Hall on Mission Hospital Road in Mandi Mohalla here recently.
The Garadi is being constructed by Nirmiti Kendra at a cost of Rs.32 lakh, with Rs.10 lakh by former MLA Vasu, Rs.12 lakh by current MLA L. Nagendra and Rs.10 lakh by MP Pratap Simha out of their respective grants. The civic amenities to the community hall is being provided by grants provided by MLA L. Nagendra and MP Pratap Simha.
Area Corporator M.B. Nagaraj, local leaders V.G. Kumar, Ramanna, Ramachandra and others were present.
