Mysuru: The much- awaited 109th Ramanavami Annual Heritage Music Festival of Ganavisharadha Sri Bidaram Krishnappa’s Sri Prasanna Seetharama Mandira, Mysuru, will be held at its premises on Narayana Shastri Road in city from Apr. 6 to 16.
The 11-day festival will be inaugurated on Apr. 6 at 6 pm by the President of the institution and philanthropist Dr. M. Jagannath Shenoy. This will be followed by the inaugural concert with a grand recital by Vid. Vishnudev Namboothiri from Kerala accompanied by Vid. Mysore Srikanth on violin, Vid. Arjun Kumar on mridanga and Vid. Rajashekar on morching.
The following 10 days will witness grand concerts by a galaxy of eminent musicians from across India. All concerts will commence at 6.30 pm.

Apr. 7: Vidushi Sriranjani Santhanagopalan will present a Karnatak vocal concert. She will be accompanied by Vidu. Charulatha Ramanujam on violin, Vid. Delhi Sairam on mridanga and Vid. G.S. Ramanujan on ghata.
Apr. 8: Malladi Brothers (Malladi Sreeramaprasad and Malladi Ravikumar) will be presenting a vocal duet concert accompanied by Vid. Nishanth Chandran on violin, Vid. Sreearavind Sarma Malladi on mridanga and Vid. Raghunandan Rao on ghata.
Apr. 9: A special all-women ensemble performing a veena, venu, violin trio. Vidu. J. Yoga Vandana on veena, Vidu. Smitha Srikiran on venu (flute), Vidu. Aditi Krishnaprakash on violin will be accompanied by Vidu. Deepika Srinivasan on mridanga, Vidu. Latha Ramachar on kanjira and Vidu. Bhagyalakshmi Krishna on morching.

Apr. 10: Grand vocal concert will be performed by Ganakalabhushana Vid. R.K. Padmanabha. He will be accompanied by Vid. H.N. Bhaskar on violin, Vid. Cheluvaraju on mridanga and Vid. ASN Swamy on kanjira.
Apr. 11: Vidu. Dr. N.J. Nandini from Kerala will perform a vocal concert. She will be accompanied by Dr. Jyotsna Srikanth on violin, Vid. H.S. Sudheendra on mridanga and Vid. Sreenidhi on ghata.
Apr. 12: Vid. Kunnakudi Balamuralikrishna will present a vocal recital accompanied by Vid. Mysore Srikanth on violin, Vid. Tumkur B. Ravishankar on mridanga and Vid. Sharath Koushik on ghata.
Apr. 13: Vid. Abhishek Raghuram will present a vocal concert. He will be accompanied by Vidu. H.M. Smitha on violin, Vid. Arjun Kumar on mridanga and Vid. Giridhar Udupa on ghata.
Apr. 14: Grand violin duet concert will be presented by Mysore Brothers (Mysore Nagaraj and Dr. Mysore Manjunath). They will be accompanied by Vid. Neyveli Venkatesh on mridanga and Vid. Giridhar Udupa on ghata.

Apr. 15: Vidu. Bhargavi Venkatram will present a vocal recital. She will be accompanied by Vid. H.K. Venkatram on violin, Vid. Tumkur B. Ravishankar on mridanga and Vid. G.S. Ramanujam on ghata.
Apr. 16: The final day of the festival will feature a Kathakalakshepa (Harikatha) by the renowned Vidu. Vishaka Hari on the theme Rāma Nee samānamevaru. She will be accompanied by Vidu. Chinmayi on violin, Vid. Vijay Natesan on mridanga and Vid. Shamith Gowda on ghata.
Sri Rama Pattabhisheka will be performed in the morning on Apr. 16 between 10.30 am and 1.30 pm. The concerts commence at 6.30 pm and entry to all concerts is free, according to a press release from Hon. Secretary C.A. Raghunandan Rao.
