Mysore/Mysuru: As part of Republic Day celebration, biopics of Mahatma Gandhi and  Dr. B.R. Ambedkar were screened for inmates of Mysuru Central Jail. The Department of Information and Public Relations in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra and Mysuru Central Jail had organised the screening.

Nehru Yuva Kendra Officer S. Siddaramappa addressed the jail inmates. Mysuru Prison Chief Superintendent Divyashree, Prison Training Centre Head Mahesh Jigani, Central Jail Superintendent Suresh, Senior Jailer Raghupathi, Dr. M.P. Varsha of CREDIT- i (Centre For Rural Education Development & Innovation Technology Of India), Assistant Director of Information R. Raju and others  were present.
