Mysuru: Anveshana Seva Trust has organised a function on Aug. 26 at 10.30 am at the Institution of Engineers on JLB Road here to mark the birth centenary of litterateur late Dr. H.S. Krishnaswamy Iyengar (HSK). It may be mentioned, he used to write a column titled “HSK’s Moving Finger Writes…” for Star of Mysore.
Former Minister P.G.R. Sindhya will inaugurate the event. Dr. D. Thimmaiah will preside. Former Minister M. Shivanna will unveil a portrait of HSK. Writers Dr. Pradhan Gurudatta and Dr. M.G.R. Urs will speak on HSK.
Six people who have contributed to the literary field will be conferred ‘Samadarshi’ award, according to a press release.
