Mysuru: Former Minister S.A. Ramdas had organised a programme titled ‘Mathadaarara Nadige – Boothina Kadege’ at Vidyashankara Kalyana Mantapa here yesterday. Hundreds of women, with two women from BJP Mahila Morcha picked up from each booth in K.R. Constituency, participated in the programme.
The women here briefed on providing awareness among voters on utility of forms like 6, 7, 8 and 8A, covering inclusion of names in Voters’ list and related matter. The women would visit every house in K.R. Constituency from today and provide awareness among voters on revision of voters’ list.
Designer Jayanti Ballal, Srihari of GSS Foundation, Corporator B.V. Manjunath, Mahila Morcha President Noor Fathima and others were present during the programme.
Marking Children’s Day, sweets were distributed to children of party activists. Meritorious children were felicitated and books on freedom fighters were distributed among them.
