Bengaluru: The BJP State Executive meeting will be held at the Palace Grounds here on June 29. This will be the first meeting of the committee after the Assembly polls.
Though the BJP emerged as the single largest party in the elections winning 104 seats, it is sitting in the Opposition with the JD(S) and Congress stitching up an alliance.
The day-long meeting is expected to discuss the political scene in the State and the party’s next course of action. BJP State President B. S. Yeddyurappa told reporters on Sunday that the meeting would also finalise programmes to take the achievements of the four years of Modi government to the people.
The meeting will also serve as a launch pad for preparations for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
