Mahila Morcha State Chief lashes out at Govt.

Prior to the workshop, State BJP Mahila Morcha President Bharathi Shetty, who addressed a press meet, lashed out at the JD(S)-Congress Coalition saying that the Government has failed on all fronts.

Alleging that development works had come to a standstill in the State, Bharathi Shetty said the Mahila Morcha will take the failures of the Government to the doorsteps of the people.

Maintaining that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched several welfare schemes for women such as ‘Beti Padao-Beti Bachao’, ‘Ujwala’, ‘Samruddha’ etc., she said that the Triple Talaq Bill was a landmark in rendering justice to Muslim women.

Listing out the achievements of Modi Government, she said that there were over 11,000 BJP Mahila Shakti Kendras covering all Lok Sabha Constituencies and these Kendras were organising workshops aimed at sensitising the women voters, who are almost half in number, on the achievements of the NDA Government.

She further said that the party would launch ‘Kamala Jyothi’ booth-level campaign on Feb. 26 and various Party Morchas will take out bike rallies across the State on Mar. 2 ahead of LS polls.
