Mysuru: The BJP’s indefinite protest demanding the resignation of Minister B. Nagendra continued for the third consecutive day today.
BJP leaders and workers have been staging the protest on CAVA College Road near the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Siddarthanagar since Monday, seeking the resignation or ouster of Minister B. Nagendra, who was jailed in connection with the Valmiki Development Corporation money laundering case.
Raising slogans against the Congress Government, the protesters said, they would continue the stir until B. Nagendra resigns.
MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar joined the protest for some time today.
City BJP President L. Nagendra, District President Kumbralli Subbanna, former Mayors Sandesh Swamy and Shivakumar, State BJP Minorities Morcha President Anil Thomas, Mahila Morcha District President Monika, party office-bearers Maheshraje Urs, Nandakumar, Papanna, Jayaprakash (JP), Dr. Shivaram, Hema Nandish, H.T. Giridhar, Manjunath and others were present.
