BNPM donates hi-tech ultrasound machine to PFA

Mysore/Mysuru: Bank Note Paper Mill India, Mysuru (BNPM) has donated an Esoate Ultrasound Machine to People For Animals (PFA) worth Rs. 15 lakh under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funding.

According to PFA Trustee Savitha Nagabhushan, BNPM has  sponsored the feeding of animals at PFA and Rs. 3 lakh has been handed over for the same. The BNPM will also hand over another Rs. 2 lakh to feed the animals sheltered at PFA.

Esaote Ultrasound Machine offers clinical solutions in ultrasound especially designed for preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in the veterinary field.

The machine can be used for pregnancy diagnosis, detecting pyometra and stones in the urinary bladder, evaluation of internal organs and assessment of heart function. 

On Oct. 16, the Directors of the company handed over the machine. BNPM Chairperson Tripti Patra Ghosh, Managing Director S. Thalikerappa, Directors A.G. Kulkarni and Sunil Kumar Sinha, General Manager (F&A) Dharani Kumara, General Manager (Tech) Anant Hegde, General Manager (HR&Admn) A.K. Mahapatra, Company Secretary S. Lakshmisha Babu and Deputy Manager Gopal Krishna were present.
