Bengaluru: Heavy rains have also claimed the life of a man, who was swept away in the Raja Kaluve at KP Agrahara here on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Lokesh (31).

Lokesh, who was reportedly under the influence of alcohol, climbed down the Raja Kaluve to know its depth and was swept away due to strong current as it was raining heavily.

His body was fished out near Bytarayapura and was shifted to Victoria Hospital for post-mortem. KP Agrahara Police have registered a case.
