Mysore/Mysuru: In a remarkable move, Bomman and Bellie, the awe-inspiring couple featured in the acclaimed Oscar-winning documentary ‘Elephant Whisperers’, have been chosen as the official Brand Ambassadors for SKAL India Congress 2023.
The dynamic duo, known for their altruistic efforts in raising orphaned elephant calves, now proudly represent an emerging India that is committed to preserving its natural treasures. Their exemplary work has already earned recognition from distinguished figures, including President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and have been bestowed with numerous prestigious awards.
Bomman and Bellie’s dedication to treating the orphaned elephants like their own children has garnered admiration and respect from around the world. SKAL India Congress, a renowned event dedicated to sustainability and ethical profits, has named Bomman and Bellie as its Brand Ambassadors for this year’s grand event. The Congress, set to be held between Oct. 4 and 8 in Mysuru and Bengaluru, emphasises the critical cause of protecting our planet and its inhabitants.

Recently, the SKAL India Congress team met Bomman and Bellie at their residence in Mudhumalai Forest. Present on the occasion were Sudipta Deb, Chairman of SKAL India Congress; B.S. Prashanth, President of SKAL Mysuru; Ayyappa Somaiah, President of SKAL Bangalore, Manimegalai and Anurag Gupta.
