JSS Mahavidyapeetha has invited entries from authors for ‘Sri Shivaratreeshwara Book’ award instituted by Sri Shivaratreeshwara Religious Endowment Trust. It carries a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 along with a citation. The books must be on Veerashaiva- Lingayat religion, Literature, History, Arts and Culture and should have been published in 2019. Article writing contest: As part of Sri Shivaratri Rajendra Swamiji Jayanti, JSS Mahavididyapeetha has also organised an article-writing contest for college students on ‘Role of Religions in Personality Development.’ Students of PU, Degree, Post-Graduate and Polytechnic from Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Mandya, Hassan and Kodagu districts may take part. Articles should be self-written and must be of 6 to 8 pages with a maximum of five entries from each College.
