Mysuru: Mysore Literary Association has organised a programme to launch former Vice-Chancellor Prof. J.A.K. Tareen’s book “Rise of a Barefoot Boy: An Autobiography” at Rotary West auditorium in Saraswathipuram tomorrow (Aug.26) at 10.30 am.

Star of Mysore Editor-in-Chief K.B. Ganapathy will launch the book. Association Vice-President Dr. H.S. Shivanna will speak on the book.

Padma Shri Prof. Jalees Ahmed Khan Tareen, who was born in Mysuru, has served as the VC of B. S. Abdur Rahman University, Pondicherry University and University of Kashmir.
