Malali Family, Mysuru and Karnataka Vichara Vedike have jointly organised a programme at S.P. Bhat Hall, Institution of Engineers-India (IEI) premises on JLB Road in city on Feb. 12 at 10.30 am, to release the book titled ‘Gadigalu Godegale?,’ authored by of Prof. Vasu Malali and to present ‘Vasu Malali Award.’
Murali, Member of ‘Maya’ Institute, will be conferred with the award by Prof. B. Sheikh Ali, former Vice-Chancellor of Mangalore and Goa Universities.
Prof. Ragow, Folk Scholar and retired Kannada Professor, will release the book.
Narayanaswamy, Commissioner of Service Tax and Parvathi Narayanaswamy (friend of Prof. Vasu) will be the chief guests.
Dr. Y.D. Rajanna, President of District Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Mysuru, D.N. Lokappa, Book publisher and K. Raghuram, Social Worker, will be the guest of honour.
