Bookanakere Prakash (48), a press photographer and a resident of Bookanakere village, passed away yesterday following brief illness.
He was also working as a reporter for a Kannada newspaper since three years.
He leaves behind his wife, one son and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Bookanakere village today.
