Bosch to repair non-working ventilators in Government Hospitals free of cost

Bengaluru: Multi-National Company Bosch has come forward to do free repair of all non-working ventilators in Government Hospitals, said Deputy Chief Minister and COVID-19 Ministerial Task Force Committee Chairman Dr. C.N. Ashwathnarayan.

He was talking to Bosch Vice-President Ramesh Saligrama here yesterday. The company has voluntarily come forward to undertake repair works of all the ventilators that have stopped functioning for want of repairs. There has been reports in media about non- functioning of ventilators in Government Hospitals.

The Minister said this issue came up for discussion during the meeting and the company VP readily agreed to repair them out of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds. Welcoming the company’s gesture, Dr. Ashwathnarayan has said that all the non-working ventilators at Government Hospitals will be identified and give the list to them, he added.
