Hanagod: A two-and-a-half-year-old boy, who was playing in front of his house, reportedly died after falling inside a water-filled bucket yesterday evening. 

The deceased boy is Samarth, son of Sundar Raj, former Dharmapura Gram Panchayat President.

It is learnt that, while the family members were busy inside the house, Samarth went out to play in front of the house. While playing, Samarth accidentally fell inside a big bucket filled with water which was kept in  kept in front of the house and got drowned.

As Samarth did not come inside the house, his father Sundar Raj came out in search of him only to find him drowned inside the water-filled bucket. 

No case has been registered and the last rites were held yesterday night.
