Mysore/Mysuru: A seven-year-old boy died after he was electrocuted while playing in his house at Kailaspuram, Mandi Mohalla on Thursday last .

The deceased boy is Mohammed Ali (7), son of Mohammed Kareem.

It is learnt that the marriage of Kareem’s relative was scheduled on Sunday and a pre-wedding event was held at Kareem’s house. As the event was underway, Kareem’s son Ali, who was playing inside the house, came in contact with an electric wire and was electrocuted, Mandi Police said.

The boy was immediately rushed to a hospital but he could not survive. Mandi Police have registered a case.
