K.R. Nagar: A 16-year-old boy was electrocuted at Malali village in the taluk on Monday.
The deceased boy is Manoj, son of Kadegowda of Malali, who was a SSLC student at the Government High School.
At about 7 am on Monday, Manoj, who had gone to his relative’s house, touched a drumstick tree which had come in contact with a 11 KV power line and was electrocuted.
Tahsildar M.S. Yadugirish and CESC AEE Arkeshwaramurthy, who visited the spot, consoled Manoj’s parents. A case has been registered at K.R. Nagar Police Station in this regard.
